Meet Our Captain

Inishmurray Island

Inishmurray Island has been uninhabited since the 1940's wth the last occupants vacating in 1948. Located in Donegal Bay 7km off the coast of Sligo.

There is much to see on the island with its varied landscape and abundant wildlife together with ancient ruins of a monastry.

Groups are our speciality. Whether you are organising a small group of 5 or 6 or a large group of 20 or more, we can cater for your needs.

History in the Making

Inishmurray Island has captured the imagination of visitors since the last dwellers vacated the Island in 1948.

Inishmurray Island has been the focal point for historical pilgrimages with the remains of an early Monastic settlement clearly visible.

Angling & Fishing

Should you wish to do some sea fishing, the MV Fiona Tee is capable of bringing you to some of the more remote positions.

In the Shadow of Benbulben is a book by Mr McGowan which details the history, and folklore, of Co. Sligo with particular reference to North Sligo . It covers the period from the first Neolithic settlements to 1798 through the War of Independence to the assassination of Lord Louis Mountbatten off the Mullaghmore coast in 1979.!
